What Is LiveWell Personal Training

LiveWell is our group training programme designed to help you get results — and actually stick to it.

You get the structure and support of personal training, with the added boost of training alongside a group of like-minded people.

It’s not about smashing yourself every session.
It’s about training in a way that’s sustainable, enjoyable, and works long term.

With LiveWell Personal Training, you’ll:

Our coaches are there to guide you, support you, and make sure you’re doing the right things for your body — not just pushing you for the sake of it.

Our aim is to provide you with a place to move, exercise and simply feel better. No egos or mirrors—just a welcoming environment where you can work out, have a laugh with like-minded people and, most importantly, keep moving for years to come. We all know the benefits of long-term exercise, so we’ve created a place where you can enjoy staying active without getting bored.

If you’re returning after an injury, our Exercise Rehabilitation programmes can help you rebuild strength, improve confidence and get back to doing the things you love.

To help you recover between sessions and reduce muscle soreness, our Sports Massage treatments work alongside your exercise, helping you stay active, move more freely and perform at your best.

I joined Hive Health and well being centre 2 years ago because I wanted to increase my general health and fitness because I needed major surgery. This is the longest I have stayed at any gym type environment because I usually get bored and lose motivation! However, I continue to come to the Hive twice weekly and do a range of core strengthening, weight bareing and general fitness exercises. I love this group because we encourage each other throughout the session. In the 2 years I have been coming to the Hive and working with Matthew I have increased my fitness levels, I feel better, I feel healthier! What I love about Hive is, everything is adaptable. If I'm not 100% or I have any injury Matthew adapts the session accordingly so that I still achieve the maximum I can in that session. I cannot recommend the Hive highly enough. It's a fabulous, friendly environment to work out in with the added benefit to 2 treatment rooms aswell. Thank you Matthew for your motivation to keep me going.

This place is fabulous! I started “prehab”in April 2022 as I started to worry about my mobility. After a lifetime in the catering industry my knees and hips were causing me a lot of pain and were pretty weak. I had surgery in December, followed by two more ops this year to replace worn out joints. Not only was I in a good place to recover quickly from the surgeries but also to continue to improve my health since. I was back in The Hive 3 weeks after each surgery. The knowledge and level of expertise are the highest I’ve experienced. Exercises are challenging and change regularly to avoid boredom! You’re never made to feel a failure…..Matt constantly monitors your progress and adjusts the exercises to maintain maximum benefit. I’m so pleased I found this place, which is so different from your ordinary gym. It’s a safe place to exercise and everyone is friendly and welcoming. A wonderful investment in my health and wellbeing.

I’ve been going for over TWO YEARS now! I never thought I would love the gym, but I LOVE Hive. It has transformed my health, fitness, confidence and I have so much fun with the helpful, kind supportive team and the awesome people I train with. I have been attending HIVE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING for over a year. I needed to improve my strength after a partial knee op, in preparation for my second partial knee op, and now post both ops. Do I Need To be Fit To Join?

No. Sessions are adapted to suit your fitness level, we understand everyone has a different starting point. 

Our coaching team can adapt exercises around many common aches and injuries. We will always make sure to adapt to your needs.

Yes. Beginners are always welcome and we let you work at an intensity which is appropriate for you. Exercises can also be modified if they need to be.

That’s completely up to you and what you want to commit to, but most of our customer come 2-4 times a week.
